Community Involvement
Community involvement has long been a priority for NAI Black and its employees. Our leadership and staff keep active in various local organizations including civic and business and economic development. Commitment to the community not only enhances our credibility and knowledge in diverse subject areas, but also brings us closer to understanding the fabric of our local community and its needs.
As a company, our employees contribute by donating food to Second Harvest. (Link to website) On the first Friday of every month employees can wear jeans to work if they donate food to vulnerable families in our community. In addition, every year during the Christmas season, we work with the DSHS Children’s Administration (Link to website) to sponsor 3-4 families in need for their Holiday Program. To make each family’s Christmas more special, we provide food, household sundries, clothes, toys, and gifts.
Our leadership is also highly active in many Spokane civic organizations and sit on various boards for business and economic development, particularly with respect to downtown Spokane revitalization efforts. These community affiliations are listed below.
