Black Development, a division of Black Realty, Inc., has extensive commercial and residential real estate development capabilities and a resume of successful development outcomes. Our experienced team oversees all aspects of commercial real estate development and residential sub-division development from acquisition, planning, design, permitting, and construction through sale or lease.

Black Development is headed by David R. Black, CCIM, SIOR. Black holds a B.S. degree in Construction Management from Washington State University and a Master of Business Administration (specializing in real estate and construction) from the University of Denver. The company has over six decades of experience developing supermarket-anchored neighborhood shopping centers. Recent activity has focused on retail build-to-suit development in the Spokane metropolitan area and in Central Washington. Dave Black and Black Development have also been a joint venture partner in successful residential planned unit developments.
